These rhubarb recipes are amazing, especially the strawberry rhubarb pie! Can I use frozen rhubarb for these recipes, or is fresh rhubarb the better option?
You can use rhubarb that’s been frozen but it should not be frozen when you add it to the recipe. For moist recipes (like pie or crisp) you can thaw it in a bowl in the microwave and use it liquid and all, but for something like cookies, you’ll want to drain thawed rhubarbin a colander to get rid of the excess liquid.
