Welcome to Foodess!

Science-Backed Recipes for Amazing Home Cooking

I’m so glad you’re here. I started Foodess in 2009 with a simple mission: to help you find more joy and less stress in the kitchen. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or just starting out, this is a space where flavor-packed recipes meet techniques rooted in science.

Since our launch, Foodess has grown into a community of over 4.5 million monthly views across platforms! It’s an honor to be a small part of your kitchen journey.

Why the “Science” Matters

Have you ever followed a recipe exactly, only to have it fail? It’s frustrating! That’s why I take a different approach here.

As a Registered Dietitian and Food Scientist, I don’t just share “what” to cook, I share the “why” behind the process (from ingredient selection to doneness testing!).

Every recipe on Foodess is obsessively tested and backed by scientific tips to help you avoid common mistakes and succeed on your very first try.
