The Year of EASY Comfort Cooking

I personally have entered a new era of parenting, with 3 boys (GULP!) now all in a multi-sport stage of life (they’re 6, 10 and 12 playing soccer, football, basketball and volleyball). As a non-athletic, book-loving indoor nerd, this is new and chaotic territory for me.

Having activities on most weeknights sure makes dinner more complicated! 🥵

From make-ahead crockpot dinners that cook while we’re living our lives, to quick air fryer recipes that get dinner on the table in under 30 minutes, 2025 thankfully proved that we don’t need complicated or time-consuming recipes to create food that we, and our families, absolutely love.

Comfort, Variety, and Real Family Meals

What makes this year’s top recipes special? Minimal effort with maximum flavor payoff. They represent the real way we love to eat: just delicious, satisfying food that brings people together.

Thank you for cooking alongside me this year and for being part of the Foodess community. Your support, your kindness, and your beautiful re-creations of these recipes mean the world to me!
