Add all ingredients to a blender or small food processor.
Start on low speed and gradually increase to high speed, tamping down ingredients as needed to keep the food moving through the blades and/or pausing to scrape down the sides.
Notes
For a thinner avocado dressing, use a total of 8 tbsp oil, 1 1/2 limes, 4 tbsp water and 1 1/4 tsp kosher salt. Avocado and yogurt quantities stay the same.
