Juicy Air Fryer Pork Chops (the Best You'll Ever Eat!)
Air fryer pork chops done right are dripping with flavor and packed with juicy deliciousness. Here's how to make pork chops with tenderness and moisture locked in.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
Mix the rub:
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme (if using), salt, and pepper.
Spread the rub generously over both sides of the pork chops, pressing it in gently.
Cook:
Place pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Work in batches if needed, they should not overlap. Flip chops after 5 minutes. The total cooking time will be 7-12 minutes. Check for doneness starting at 7 minutes (especially for thinner chops!).
Check doneness:
Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 145°F. Let them rest for 3 minutes after cooking to keep them juicy.
Pour any accumulated juices from the bottom of the air fryer over the chops before serving. Yum!

Notes
The cooking time is a range because thicker chops will take longer than thinner ones. If you forget to preheat your air fryer, chops may also take a couple minutes longer.
Bone-in chops tend to be larger than boneless, so fitting four in the air fryer basket in a single layer might be tricky. To avoid steaming instead of browning, leave some space around each chop for the air to circulate.
If you need to cook in batches, keep the first batch warm in a 200°F oven or on a plate covered with foil while finishing the rest.
