- ¼ cup olive oil plus more for serving
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves peeled
- 2 tbsp black sesame seeds plus more for topping
- 1 large can of chickpeas about 2 cups, drained and rinsed
- salt to taste (I use 1 to 1-1/2 tsp of sea salt)
- Aleppo pepper and/or snipped herbs for serving optional
